I heard this song was actually written by Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day for Rancid. Dunno if that's true...but I know Rancid originally performed it.

This song is punk. Not ska, or reggae. The ska and reggae elements are just influences and making fun of Rancid and Operation Ivy because it's mildly amusing.

it's funny this is the most popular track of nofx on the meem but what's funnier is Rancid's side of the split covering nofx. I was 2 when NOFX started. Or started calling themselves a band.
