I can't believe it.
She did the damn thing, official status.
I was expecting some bullshit, I promise I was.
But damnit, Ciara brilliantly showed out on her latest album, showed out so well that I feel compelled to purchase multiple copies of the album, and not from the bootleg store this time LOL!
Funny thing, how I see people going nuts and trying to tell me that Keri Hilson's album is good and its the business. Uhh NOPE. I heard that shit all the way through, and I advise you not to waste your money on that cute little girl's attempt to steal the spotlight from Ciara. Keri is super garbage in comparison to this woman. Nooooo shawty, this shit right
here nigga...
Take a listen to track 3 (High Price) and tell me otherwise.
Ciara reminds me of a regular girl who worked her ass off to make some true-to-her-style music, and tried her best to create some mainstream-friendly stuff to hype and promote herself. I ain't mad at her. I don't dickride, and some stuff on the album is absolutely skip-worthy (like, in my opinion "Turntables" wtf...) but for the most part, you hear raw creativity and funky lyricism and unique beats reminiscent of the 1990's southern bass era. Understandably, as she IS 23 and from the A(tlanta).
I'm personally not feeling about 3 songs on the CD, but the rest of the album is just a little too hot. Not to mention the CD art (I've seen people lick the pics, I swear!)...I'll campaign for Cece harder than the country did for Obama last year LOL!

My favorites are definitely...
"G is for Girl" (A to Z): I needed that for a 2009 theme song. Song's pretty hard, and she's talking some serious shit here. Go Girl!
"High Price" (w/Ludacris & The Dream): Ohhh shit. All I have to say is "you know meeee!" This song literally forced me to tap the repeat-one button, a truly
delicious track.
"Work" (w/Missy Elliott): Hopefully this will be on the radio next. The song just automatically took me to the Freaknik era, and I love the feel of the beat. Great sunny day/clubby night song.
"To the Stage": Oh. My. Word. Great track, almost makes me want to fuck the chick. "Ci-a-ra to the stage..." whew.
"Love Sex Magic" (w/Justin Timberlake): You should already know. But if you don't, just go peep the video. Her lyricism is quite undeniable here.
"Lovers Thing" (w/The Dream): At first I wrote it off. But then it got stuck in my head, and I couldn't resist playing it over and over. Quite beautiful, and a satisfactory collabo.
