Hi this is Alfred Rosanes
i started singing when i was 2 years old
and started attending voice lessons when i was 8 years old, it didn't last for too long
but when i was 11, i attended a workshop
in singing,acting&dancing called Center for arts
foundation inc.
And I learned some basic stuff like proper
breathing,and some performance skills.
then in 2002 I first started acting.I did some musicals,stage plays,and dramas.
but 2003 is a big year for me because i was
chosen to record a christian song and that's my
first time recording a song.
2004 is a year of laylow for me, i stopped singing
but it's an important time for me to find where
my music really belongs, i listened to many
genre's and i found out that R&B and hiphop are
my genre's.
2005- this is the year where i completely stop
singing and start listening to more music, but the
great part of it was this was all my song writing
ability started, i'm more on making poems in this time.
2006-return to prominence, i started singing again.my voice started weak because of the lack of practice,but thank God in 2007 i got accepted in a choir and learned so much of stuff! like blending w/ other singers,reading notes,proper posture,pronounciations,vocal placements,and how to take care of my voice =].\i'm really thankful of my choir director Ms. Basilan and i'm currently still in the choir called "CHS madrigals".
2007-earlier that year i started listening to the music of Passion,Joey Diamond,Jason Mraz & Usher.what i did was start doing covers,recording and tried composing.
later that year i started composing songs,at first i did so bad, but i'm al good we go to those stages you know... but it's all good
early 2008- is where my writing ability and composition really started, i started collaborating with some beat composers,
but the most influencial with me is Upperfunk Productions, he gave me a break, from beat demos to recording stuff and voice coach.I owe him alot.i started creating most of my favorite original compositions.then started doing
gigs from small places like coffee shops,party's and some front acts in concerts (excluding school demands). then all i did is have fun and create songs...
early 2008-my collaboration with upperfunk started to decline because of his hectic schedule but i understand it =]
then a miracle collaborator land on my hands
and he's Justin Cober productions. produced many of my songs like 2/3's of all my compositions are collaborated with him.
now-i'm still composing some stuff and finishing off some final touches on my demo CD and i'm really sorry if i didnt post all of it because i need alll my songs to be copyrighted.
