So Ben and I have started doing some radio thingies because of Hole The Door. Yesterday we went to The Point 105.7 in St Louis. We got to the station and had to use 2 guitars that our radio guy Bob got for us at Guitar Center. Yes....... we dont own acoustic guitars. Actually. ben has one but it sucks. So anyway we show up, radio station guy tells us we have time and all this stuff. then he tells us that we will be on air LIVE in 8 minutes. Our guitars arent tuned at all... we're both pretty nervous because its our first LIVE acoustic performance. Luckily, it was all good and we were in tune with each other, played well and ben sang well. I realllly reallly wish i had taken my camera to this and im a complete idiot for not BUT im sure

Im pretty excited because tomorrow is a day off and usually we just go to some random hotel in some random, odd city that you've probably never heard of. Tomorrow we're going to KROCK new york to do something. I actually dont know whether we're playing or doing an interview or just meeting the staff there. I will, however, take pictures there. Then post them on here. to make everyone happy i hope.

This week we were asked to record a theme song for a WWE wrestler. The catch was that the song was already written, lyrics and music. They didnt have any melodies though so we wouldve had to fit them in. The song was very not us! and the lyrics were even less us. I guess its kind of a big deal because its such a huge thing, but i think it would've come off all wrong for us. So.. dont think its gonna happen. There go my dreams of maybe attending wrestlemania 08!!

Not sure if many or any of you follow sports... but we in Armor For Sleep are from NJ and are inherent Giants fans. As you may or many not know, today the Giants won and are on their way to the Superbowl!! Sweet! One of the best things about this is that we somehow have a day OFF at HOME superbowl day. Pretty insane.

So today we are off in El Paso, Texas. Cant expect too much here. Most times we have off we just rot in the bus/hotel room and shower, watch TV, play video games, do laundry and sit down for a family meal, dysfunctional family.HA
I really wanted to visit the El Paso salsa factory, but it just wasnt in the cards. We piled in the La Quinta shuttle and went to this sports bar called Hiney's. Its like the "back-door" version of Hooters, if you catch my drift. We went there because it was the only sports bar in El Paso that had a website. We definitely felt like outcasts, most of the people there hate the Giants because they ousted the Cowboys. yeaaaa... we just went there for the first half then jetted. The next half of the game was spent at room 135 at the La Quinta watching a TV with busted audio and video. Nice.

Really dont know what to do with myself tonight. Might see a movie. Not really sure what i would want to see. I really want to see National treasure 2, the first one was pretty damn good i must say. I also want to see Cloverfield, but i know its gonna be a let down. I think ppl just want to see it because they dont want ppl to spoil it for them.

Tomorrow is the first day of the Saosin tour. Tucson, Terrorzona.

Current mood: optimistic
Hey all,
PJ from Armor here. I play guitar, im also wlel known for having red hair. I will be your narrator of this Blog. Lets take a journey together across the United States. Today is our 4th day on the road. We are currently headlining shows on our way out to join up with Saosin in Arizona. Right now we are rolling with Four Year Stong, a hard poppy punk band from Mass.

I like being in middle america. In one day we have scoured such places as WalMart and Home Depot. We needed stuff, and thats what they have. Stuff. Lots of it. I needed some floss and some meals to keep the fuel inside burning long enough to get to the next show. Tomorrow will be Dallas, our biggest show on this mini headlining run. We will also be filming a web-isode. Dont know what it will be about, but i have some ideas thus far.

I also want to start putting up some daily pictures on here of kind of what goes on so you can get a sense of how amazing/boring/fun/surprising/idiotic/weird touring can be. Also, if you'd like to hear about something more or want more pictures, etc. bascially anything,,..... lemme know. Im human and i can change, less than a chamelon though.
