Celtic Woman
Celtic Woman
Celtic Woman are an all-female vocal ensemble performing various traditional and contemporary Celtic-based songs. Often compared to such artists as Clannad, Enya, and Loreena McKennitt, Celtic Woman also put on a live stage show that shares much in common with similarly minded shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. A live performance by Celtic Woman was filmed for broadcast on PBS in 2004 and debuted a year later with an accompanying CD and DVD. The holiday-themed A Christmas Celebration appeared in 2006, with A New Journey following in 2007. As well as the group recordings, each member of Celtic Woman has released her own solo album. ~ Matt Collar, All Music GuideMore

Hi!

I went to your concert in Philadelphia a few months ago and I was so happy to hear you guys! I have a disability that makes it a little harder to get around, but I managed to get out of the house to see you guys preform. My mom somehow, I think she found it on Ebay, got me a picture of Lisa, Alex, Chloe, Mairead, and Orla and I am so happy! I hung it on the wall next to my bed, and I see it every night. When you're on BS, my mom laughs because my life momentarily stops so that I can watch the two hour performance. My dream is to someday sing with you guys either 1) just to sing or 2) become a part of the group.

I know it sounds silly and a bit childish, but its the truth and I hope to see you guys when you come to the East Coast again!

:)
