Your show tonight in Chicago was sooooooooooooooo awesome. I went to so many of your shows years ago I cannot even remember exactly how many. My friend Amanda and I met you once at a show in Chicago, of course we were both so awestruck that we had both feet in our mouth and had a "Christmas story, football moment". Thanks for coming back for your fans. We do love you and as you see from your fan base you have touched so many people. And I read the post from Sunny King from August 27th. I feel horrible about that families loss. I have children of my own and cannot even fathom what I would do if something happened to either of them. Sunny if you read this, I hope you get your wish. If it don't happen, I am sure that it is because Creed did not get the message but I sure hope they do. My heart goes out to you and your family. I wish there was something more I could say to you to help you, but words cannot describe the heartache I feel for your loss.

Creed, My husband, our two close friends, and I used to go to your shows as you were our favorite band and were so excited that you got back together. We bought the tickets immediately when they went on sale for the Nissan Pavilion show. We waited patiently and were excited about seeing you guys reunited. On Aug 7, 2009 I found our sweet baby boy Brody had passed away in his crib. He was almost five months old. Obviously I don't have to describe our heartache to you. We had debated on whether or not we really felt like going to the concert in lieu of the situation but decided to go anyhow. The words of the songs stuck such a powerful chord with us and had us pretty emotional. It allowed us to vent and get angry and release sadness in a way that only powerful music can. I am going to ask you for a far fetched request....a shot in the dark here. My husband's birthday is on Sept 12th and you have a Sept 11th show at Lakewood in Atlanta. Is there any way of bringing us (the foursome who went to Nissan and cried on each other to your songs) up on stage to sing a song to my husband? We'll fly to the moon for this. So many of your words are lyrically appropriate for what we are going through...."I feel angry, I feel helpless....what's this life for?......can you take me higher..." I know it's a shot in the dark but nothing seems appropriate to celebrate a birthday so close to our son's death. I thought I'd give it a wild shot in the dark. I hope you get this message and it strikes a chord in your heart. It would help me comfort my husband on his birthday in the only way I know how.
