I disagree, her voice is strong... it's just that she prefers to talk & sing at the same time which doesnt require much effort. I have seen her in concert and even got to meet her backstage while she was practicing vocal techniques... She has an impressive range and you can definitely get a taste of it from underground albums when she was known as Erica Wright. Her music, nonetheless, is definitely reminiscent of the times when real songs were being sung and performed. She has a very distinct uniqueness to her voice and her overall sound. She is very resilient though and has a dedicated fan base that sticks behind the things she "births". Her cipher truly does move like a rolling stone and I'm that blade of grass that is itching to be picked up by it.... She truly is an amazing and creative being and I admire her talent, drive, and soul.....

I really love Erykah...Her style is very similar to the 70's power house soul groups I grew up on. Although her voice is not the strongest vocally, The combination of the musicianship, groove, style and voice create an excellent musical package.

Her lyrics and voice is sick, i love her she is the BOMB!
