i remember when i first heard this song (as a teenager) at 1 of my friends' quincenera (like a sweet 16 but hispanics celebrate it a year early..sweet 15) this song was performed by a popular (tejano) tex-mex singer named ram herrera..fell in love with the song...kudos to georgie for such a beautiful song!!
