As the son of a preacher, Nashville-based singer/songwriter
Jeremy Lister spent his formative years immersed in music, picking apart notes and chord changes while writing songs with his piano-playing older brother,
Richie. After relocating to Nashville in 2003,
Lister began exploring different musical styles, eventually recording an EP called
Shooting Star. He put out another EP (
So Far) in 2005 that caught the ear of Warner Bros. Records, resulting in 2007's
Just One Day EP. His full-length major-label debut, stocked
