Kinki Kids
A J-pop duo under the tutelage of impresario Johnny Kitagawa, the Kinki Kids (Koichi Domoto, born January 1, 1979, and Tsuyoshi Domoto, born April 10, 1979) were a hugely successful act that spawned number one singles -- in fact, all of their singles were number ones -- and best-selling albums and videos. The Kinki Kids made their recording debut in 1997 with the album A (all of their albums -- outside of compilation releases -- were titled in alphabetical order) and, starting the year before and lasting until 2001, the duo hosted the television show Love Love Aishiteru. Their best-of and fan-favorite compilation, 39, was released in 2007 to coincide with the group's tenth anniversary. ~ Chris True, All Music GuideMore
