Listen to this album from start to finish...at night...with all the lights turned off. The experience will be unlike that of any other album. It can be scary, but it always makes you come back for more. There is truly NOTHING like it.

I heard this album when I was in Hong Kong. omg...all of it incorporated itself into my life like I was meant to listen to this album at that time because I was having a lot of issues that year. It was magic. NIN has a way of putting simple themes to their songs so nearly everyone can relate to their music. Trent's journal probably has a lot of stuff us "tainted souls" have gone through...therefore I feel like I can relate to everything Trent sings about. This album is very close to my heart. Not my fave. But pretty close.
