The first NIN song I really heard was "The Hand That Feeds." So, you can imagine my surprise when, soon after, I got my first album of theirs, "The Downward Spiral." Spiral was a revelation for me roughly four years ago, and remains one of my favorite albums. Listen to it from start to finish, loud, at night, and with the lights out.

Well i find With teeth the closest sounding album to the fragile, and fragile is my favorite album. It's crazy you would ever make with teeth your least favorite, but whatever floats your boat.

I like this album. And sorry Scott M, but with_teeth will always be the last album on the list for me. And that includes the Ghosts cuts. Also broken, for being an EP, owns the pretty hate machine.

Pebbles... You really think this and slip are Trents best albums??? O.o, i mean i know it's all opinion... but come on... Fragile>the downward spiral>Pretty hate machine>broken>with teeth> the slip>year zero. IMO. XD

This music will be interpreted how you guys perceive it. That's how Trent wants it which is why he doesn't talk too much about his beliefs, although his beliefs about Bush are perfectly clear. I love Trent all the more for allowing us to feel how we think the music should be.

I like all there stuff. I can remember being a little shit listening to Pretty Hate Machine, Broken and so on.. But when my mom caught me listening to closer on Downward Spiral I had to sneak the album. Lol im 24 now xD Funny how some of my friends think they sound scary. Though I remember when I first heard Broken some of the sounds used kinda disturbed me. But hey I was only like 7 lol now I like scarry sounds thanks to this stuff o.o Or even Skinny Puppy.... Ok Ill shut up now x.o

You must be late to the NIN bandwagon because The Downward Spiral has to be given it's perfect credibility.

This album is more relevant than it has ever been. With the government appointing czars and China owning a disturbing amount of America, this may truly be Year Zero. Brace yourselves. This could be the beginning of the end........
