Blending Americana with ambient electronics, Nashville, TN's Paper Route had its start in the summer of 2004 when Chad Howat was staying up all night in his apartment making music with a variety of instruments and programming. Friend and former bandmate J.T. Daly joined in to sing and play drums. A month later, upstairs neighbor and another former bandmate Andy Smith began adding vocals, guitar, harmonica, and synthesizer.
