It's Missing something... I can't really tell. Lack of a hook? Anyways, this is Metalcore. A genre I am not personally a fan of as it has a tendency to always be Religion-Centered. This isn't Christian Metal though, granted all the members ARE Christians. This is just some metalcore with preachy lyrics.

It's so funny how poeple will listen to a song and jump to conclusions about what they THINK they hear. But if they take the time to read the lyrics, they would realize how wrong they are. So all of you who think As I Lay Down Dying is not a Christian band, you would be greatly mistaken.

this IS a christian band. like I said, I saw them at ichthus '08, its a CHRISTIAN music festival. and if you read their lyrics, a normal heavy metal screamo band would have cussing and suicidal messages. thier lyrics don't have any of that.
