This song is super amazing. My cousin has to Belly dance to this song and she taught me how. its so super fun. i like that movie. Lolz!

Actually it was directed by an Englishman. Danny Boyle is from Manchester, England which is on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean... closer to India (in physical miles) than America.

I thought Slumdog Millionaire was an amazing movie. Granted they were mostly speaking English, but it was made for an English speaking audiance. Foreign Language films do not really get a lot of attention and are not really played in the big movie theatres. I think it's awesome that they used actors from India and kids straight from the slums of India to play the young Jamal, Salim, and Latika, etc.

I love the music from the movie too... I hope to see the actors who played Jamal and Salim (the oldest boys) and Latika (the oldest girl) in more movies. I really loved his acting... same with the guy who played Maman... he was really good too. I thought the youngest Jamal, Salim and Latika were just adorable. It would be cool to see them in more movies too.

i hardly watch indian flick.......i watch this bcuz its not a "BOLLYWOOD MOVIE" which most of u keep saying it american movie with indian themen to it,,,,,it waz good movie never the less

All of you people who keep saying slumdog millionaire didn't deserve oscars aren't true because his movie isn't like all the other bollywood movies because trust me i have seen pretty much all of the modern bollywood movies and this is awesome because it based it on a true place because in india there are some places where kids' lives are really like that even the kids who played in the movie were really from the slum area
even though i think that it won a lot of oscars because i like the dark night better!
