Mayhem’ is a hip-hop group comprised of Big Ced, Killa Prince, and T-80. Each member brings a different aspect of popular hip-music blended together to form an evenly balanced mixture of what’s hot in the industry. Although all three of them have a different element they bring to the table, they all share the common thread of growing up in low-income inner city areas. Each member understands the constant battle for survival in a society where the odds are stacked against young black males. “Its like man…we make real life music…and that’s how ya gonna get it, but shit we know people out here dying everyday and we not trying to be an influence on more lives being lost. But trust me shawty this shit do happen everyday…and I aint sayin its fair but til we as whole do something bout it thats the way its gonna be…says Killa Prince.”
‘Mayhem’ has a unique sound because its not often that you can find a group of young black males who have the knowledge base as this four man tangent. “ We got real life songs, but shit we got shit for the girls and the clubs too…man you gotta be rounded in this music game if you tryna get somewhere…feel me….Big Ced.”
