..12 years ago - my Mom passed away... IT WAS SUDDEN!!! Her 4 kids moved back to the U.S. and she remained in the Philippines. She had a chance to return to the U.S. - she was a widow of a U.S. Military man that served in the Navy for 20 years... (Dad died shortly after he RETIRED...) - the Philippines would not honor her DUAL Citizenship and declared her U.S. Passport a FRAUD... She NEVER returned to the U.S.... WHEN she was diagnosed with LYMPHOMA...? She REFUSED to tell her 4 children... AND so ENDURED this disease ON HER OWN... Until her passing on May 18, 1997... The NEWS was VERY DEVESTATING TO ME... I took the NEWS of my MOM passing aaway VERY - VERY HARD... Mother's Day had just passed a week before - I was doing a Church function - so I was not able to return her call that day... I NEVER CALLED MY MOM BACK... MOM... I am so sorry... I miss you so much... To this day I wished I had the chance to call you back and just TALK... It has been HARD trying to FORGIVE myself for what I didn't do that day... MOM... This song is for you... WITH ALL MY ALOHA!!!
