Based in Brooklyn, NY, Cantora Records is the collaborative effort of three veterans of the New York and Los Angeles music scenes. Started in 2005 while attending college at New York University, Cantora Records has taken their independent philosophies of the "new" music business and applied them to help launch the careers of artists like MGMT, Rumspringa, Savoir Adore, Violens and Francis and The Lights.
