The Cartel (TMC) is a group comprised of two talented individuals Grade A & B.Will. Both born and raised in The Woods...Maywood & Bellwood (Murda Woods as it is referred to by its residents). There were many pit falls in the small town that lay just outside the west side of Chicago, but The Cartel managed to use music as a way to escape the negativity that awaited in the streets. They have spent the last 3 years working to bring innovative and compelling music to the world and have already begun to generate a buzz in the their own town that is reaching further and further outwards towards the city of Chicago. Their first release, The Hijack Mixtape, was received well by the public, selling 500 units locally. The Cartel plans to bring the sound of their city The Woods to the masses by approaching tracks with their clever word play, razor sharp wit, and one of a kind delivery.
