Cast of Thousands is a San Francisco-based post-hardcore/indie rock trio whose combination of melody and dark imagery has earned it a growing following through robust recordings and intense live performances.

The band uses dynamic rhythms and boy-girl vocal harmonies to accentuate their hard-yet-melodic style. During performances, the churn out a combination of hooks, volume, and intensity.

Cast of Thousands has opened for popular national acts such as Smoking Popes, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Karate, and The City On Film and performed at esteemed Bay Area venues including San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall, Slim's, Red Devil Lounge, and The Bottom Of The Hill. Cast of Thousands’ song “Wicked Smile” from their upcoming album This Is Where I Confess (October 2007) was featured on Bay Area modern rock radio station Live 105’s Local Lounge program.
