Surprised, aren't you? I am pretty surprised with myself too!
The previous post was about SHINee boys and their winning at MuBank against their sunbaes, Super Junior. It was posted on Jun 05, 2009, not yet 1 month ago. And I even posted screencaps with SuperJuniorShinee interaction and love there ... you saw it didn't you?
... at that time, I wasn't interested in Super Junior.
Well I've known them since 2005 thanks to their famous variety show “Super Junior Full House”. Until now I’ve liked Heechul, Kibum, Donghae and later Kyuhyun a lot. And what’s more, uhm, I like their song "Miracle". But I don't really have any real interest; I don't really pay attention to those boys. Just like what I've said, I'm already over the teen stage and thus not smitten with any boyband anymore, not to mention I really dislike DBSK. I'd strongly believed so until the day I knew SHINee, lol.
And now fate has smirked at me ONCE AGAIN ...
Guess what? I've fallen head over heels for
Super Junior
I have to admit that, right now, at the very present moment, my love for SuJu surpasses SHINee's *so ashamed of herself*
I honestly dunno why this happened. It's so impulsive, sudden, out of the blue, ardent, blooming-and-exploding-like-crazy, but omg at the same time very sincere, passionate, true and deep.
Maybe a few months later I'll forget this infatuation?! Perhaps yes, perhaps not. But this is really a great experience, indeed it is.

The stone has rolled in the day when I watched their variety show “Exploration of the Human Body” (in short EHB, and this abbrev is very common amongst SJ’s fans), which had totally 13 episodes (Why so shorttt? I want a second season with the same cast!). The show is freaking hilarious and entertaining yet still educational to some extent, and it’s really worth watching even though your knowledge about the boy is zero. I think I have to love my stomach more now, as I’ve hurt it so much when I watched that show. Yes, I laughed, ROFLMAO, let out guffaws after guffaws. I coughed and my eyes were wet with tears because I laughed so hard it hurt. I already laughed like no tomorrow when firstly watching without subs, so the second time when I really understood what’s going on, I laughed even more. And when I re-watch the show, considering I’ve known everything, I still laugh! I’m so failed, haizzz.
(This’s gonna be a long post, I know …)But I guess it’s just the right move of mine, learning about them through variety shows. It’s really a warning for everyone: don’t touch variety shows, especially those which were done by a whole group (some just have a few members as hosts), if you don’t want to be killed.
BEFORE• I knew they have 13 members but thought “Holla that’s freaking big and messy” and “how could people memorize their names”
• I didn’t think these boys were talented at all and they looked ridiculous and stupid (yes, stupid), comparing to SHINee or DBSK
... and NOW• I think number 13 is really sweet, and this group is just big enough. I can remember all their faces and names: Euteukie, Heechul, Hankyung, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmi, Eunhyukie, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum and Kyuhyun
• I read so many trivias and facts about them that now I think I can pass at least 70% as a SJ fan
• I don’t think they’re stupid and useless anymore; in fact they’re really talented entertainers, and in multi fields, not just music. They still look ridiculous, oh but I love it so much my cute dorks!
• One of the things that move me the most is their brothership and friendship. The group is so big, but very cohesive, they’re like a family, like brothers (hyungs and dongsaengs). Like KimKyu has said, he doesn’t feel that good when not all 13 members are together, even in sub-groups like SJ-M or SJ-KRY. Forever 13 – that’s why I love the boys so much!
• To further elaborate the above point, I have nothing against sub-groups of Super Junior, but I strongly believe Super Junior the group per se has only 13 members (even though lately Kibum has been MIA =_= ). Super Junior M is specially designed for Mainland China, with 2 members Zhou Mi & Henry. I don't hate them, I treat them as who they are, but I can't force myself to love them.
SuJu is forever 13 to me. That's why I'm not fond of ideas of breaking the group into smaller sub-units, although at the same time I do acknowledge that 13 is a big number. Probably the reason why I love this group so much, is because they have undergone so many troubles. The terrible accidents with Heenim & Kyu... Being divided into sub-units. Hangeng, Hae, Siwon, Wookie, Kyu are shipped to China... just 5 of them. Unlike DBSK members who are shipped altogether, SJ aren't. This hurts whenever I think about it.
• And I love
ALL 13 of them. Of course there are members that I love a little bit more than others, but overall I still love 13 of them very much. I’ve used to think number 5 is really a lot, and it takes a lot of effort from me, say, in the case of SHINee I have to learn about each member and love them. In the case of SuJu, things were much more natural, I really don’t need to force myself at all to love them. It just came, and I’ve fallen in love … it’s a miracle, right? Life couldn’t get better
... SJ is like a special hot pot, and without just one of the 13 members, the taste can't be delicious anymore XD

SO, IN SUM ...
Even though I'm not an ELF, and I don't think I will become one, or want to be one...
I still wish them all the best, my talented lovely dorky crazy boys, Angel Teukie (hmm now I know why so many earrings of yours have angel wings), Chullie (and your Heebum), Hankyung, Yesung, KangKing, Dong Dong, Sweet Pumpkin, Hyukie, Fishie, Siwonnie, Ryeowookie, Kibummie and KimKyu!
Saranghaeyo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (phewww... enough 13 ♥ xDDD hahaha)
