So many beauties in this appealing world
The true beauty lies in the beholder's eyes
There is beauty in the child's innocence and in mother's love
There is beauty in a friend's affection and in a tender heart

There is beauty in a pretty smile and caring eyes
There is beauty in the morning sun and a rainy day
There is beauty in the flaky slow and a pleasant spring

There is beauty in the milky moon and the graceful rivers
There is beauty in a hard earned victory and a hopeful soul
There is beauty in me and beauty in you

So many beauties in this spectacular world and its dazzling life
And the true beauty lies in the beholder's eyes

THE LADY IN THE NIGHT

She stands all alone in the darkness of night
Through rain, wind and snow a remarkable sight

On a river that separates city from nation
A statuesque queen a European creation

A crown on her head with a torch gold and bright
Giving strangers from each nation new hope and delight

She stands for the freedom, truth promise and more
Of America the beautiful she's the opening door

The tattered and torn have all called on her name
Traveled thousands of miles before her they came

Each with their vision and dream to fulfill
Each with persistence and a God given will

She's watched as they came in day and in night
In peace and in war time what a magnificent sight!

She's protected the shores of each native and more
Given hope to the stranger, and help to the poor.

She's been the mother, the queen the woman of all
Standing stately and beautiful, her watch is God's call.

It' a woman you see God has put in this place
To stamp out despair... with love and hope to replace

A woman a mother sent to protect each and everyone
The young and the old, a song of freedom to be sung

America the beautiful the strong and the brave
Despite guns, bombs, and destruction, our lives she must

A sister, a mother, grandmother and more
The person to keep us safe inside freedom's door

She stands like the lioness in front of her cave
Protecting her cubs, their lives she must save

With the years and upheavals of presidents and kings
She holds to our dreams and let's freedom ring

It rings louder and louder with each blow we take
With each bomb that bursts each life that's at stake

THE FASHION OF PHYSICS

The photon is a woman
deciding what to wear,
A patterned or a solid dress?
the answer isn't clear.

If you peek while she's deciding
she'll choose one just for you,
But when your back is turned again
she'll try on something new.

Even with a closet full
she'll not be satisfied,
For styles often cancel out
or wrongly coincide.

She'll slip into a dressing room
to test out something sheer,
Then change into a rigid mood
unhappy with the mirror.

Eventually she is arrayed
to interact with you,
But she arrives, to your surprise
in not one gown, but two!

and Sexual Obsession.

Love is a thing shared by two
Love is what you feel for me and you
Love is precious when its shared
Love is danger when its dared

Love wanders and searches for the one
Love plays and just do it for fun
Love lets you hear love songs to emote
Love lets you make sweet poems & a quote

Love makes the world go around
Love makes us happy if the one we love
is finally found
Love turns the world upside down
Love cheers us never with a frown

Love makes you cry
Love sacrifices and says goodbye
Love has its own reason and time
Love can make someone you love "mine"

Love makes a person kiss
Love makes a person miss
Love is experienced by all
Love conquers when you fall.

Medicine bottle is off the shelf

Jammed packed with millions of mistakes
Where loves departure never hesitates
A whisper of a thought
As a memory is suddenly caught

Death is near

My mind acknowledges

my pain.

My body felt his touch
My soul went up

in flames.

I see his face constantly
I hear his voice inside

my head.

I feel his hands on me
I must know why I

feel dread.

Heart broken I stand.
Soul pierced I fall

broken.

Eyes full of many tears.
Mouth closed many words

spoken.

Passion wracks my body.
Love wavers in my heart

secretly.

A spoken word can kill
A part of me dies whenever
