lol wow. ok im gonna say this: BOTH SIDES ARE WRONG. latrell, your wrong when it comes to this song. this is a great song w/ a great message. its about conflicts in the world (i assume) so is the video(i assume). thats why it has those historic figures and weapons in the video. so yes it does make sense. and all the ppl that dont like rap for your INCREDIBLY ignorant reasons are wrong also. thats not all wat rap is about. rap is a different way of expression. the reasons that all yall dont like rap is bc of the stuff you see today, which is why rap gets such a bad reputation. rappers you see on your TVs are commercial rappers. they all talk about the same thing and thats mostly wat they go by. sure in their CDs, they manage to fit in some sort of uplifting song but other than that, its nothing but money, cars, drugs, and women, which is how rock songs and/or the image was in the 80s w/ some of the top bands like Motley Crue or Van Halen(more notably the first lead singer, Eddie Van Halen). and yes there are rock groups that actually talk about things other than those common topics like Nickelback or Creed or whoever else and have songs that talk about important things like this song for instance but there are rappers that talk about important issues in the world, but mostly they dont get much play bc they dont fit the common profile. so to judge one whole genre of music bc of w/e the rappers or rockers are no-talent hacks or w/e is PURE IGNORANCE that you would just dis a music genre bc of that reason. sure if you dont like rap, rock, or any other genre bc of w/e reason THATS ACTUALLY VALID AND NOT SOME STUPID-ASS REASON then thats ok but its totally not when you dislike a genre bc of stupid reasons like all yall exhibited.
