What's good people?!

In case you haven't seen it on TV, heard it on the radio, or read it on
the internet, the 1st Annual Miss Hick Chick USA search has begun! It
started in Austin, TX at Graham Central Station this past Wednesday.
After crowning the regional finalist there, we proceeded to Abilene, TX
to crown their regional finalist. These ladies have advanced to the
national finals to be held in October in Nashville at Graham Central
Station! It's been pretty cool and at times wacky but always fun.
After those 2 days, I caught back up with my buddies Big & Rich for
rockin' shows in Cheyenne, WY at Frontier Days and Minot, ND for the
North Dakota State Fair. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to
those fans, especially the thousands of fans that showed up in Cheyenne
and stood in the rain through our whole show (2 hours)! Those people
rocked out with us the whole time. That is certainly showing
dedication. Our North Dakota fans were great as well. We had good
weather and they certainly brought their yelling voices because that's
what they did the whole show. Thank you.

I'm sitting in the airport in Minneapolis, MN waiting on my flight home
to Nashville in a couple of hours. Had a layover from my flight in from
North Dakota. Next week, Great Falls, MT is next with the Montana State
Fair. Then I'll dip down to Oklahoma City, OK for the Regional Finals
of the Miss Hick Chick USA competition. Then I'll run back up to
Davenport, IA to catch up with B&R for another rockin' show. Catch me
if you can.
