The annual MTV Asia Awards is the Asian equivalent of the United States' MTV Video Music Awards and Europe's MTV Europe Music Awards.

MTV Asia Awards to raise funds for the victims of the Myanmar and China disasters. June 23, 2008

MTV Asia will be dedicating its coming MTV Asia Awards to raise funds for the twin disasters in Myanmar and China. Leveraging on the pan regional music awards show’s massive popularity, MTV will be roping the talents and who’s who in the music & movie industry attending the star-studded event to appeal to the audience across Asia to contribute to the cause. Hosted by Jared Leto, 30 Seconds To Mars, The 2008 MTV Asia Awards will be broadcasted to over 291 million homes across the region. All proceeds will go to International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) Asia Relief Fund.

You pretend to ignore that person

But when that special someone
is not around
You might look around
To find them
At the moment

Although there is someone else
Who makes you laugh
Your eyes and attention might go only
to that special someone
Then, you are in love

was supposed to have called you long back
To let you know of their safe arrival
Your phone is quiet
You are desperately waiting for the call!
At the moment

If you are much more excited
for one short e-mail from that special someone
Than other many long e-mails
You are in love

When you find yourself
As one who cannot erase all the messages
in your answering machine
Because of one message from that special someone
You are in love

When you get a couple of free movie tickets
You would not hesitate
to think of that special someone
Then, you are in love

You keep telling yourself
"That special someone is just a friend"
But you realize that you cannot avoid that
person's special attraction
At the moment you are in love
