Derrick G. Williams was born last of 4 children Jan. 28 1983 to Christina M. Williams (Devout Christian / Church member) & George L. Williams (Preacher / Union Worker) raised in Baltimore City (Bodymore, Murdaland, Harm City) in the crime ridden neighborhood of Garrison Bvd. & Liberty Hights. Throughout young life he was exposed to two very different sides of life. Church life which was a big part of his life due to his parents religious nature, and street life which he was forced to witness first hand, often when doing something as innocent as playing a game of baseball or riding his bike. "I came up in church hearing about the blessings of god, and went out side to play in a world that seemed to have no god". This extremely two sided way of existence has a profound effect on the way Ugly preforms his craft. A Lyrical Harvey Dent of sorts.
