Statik has been dubbed the busiest DJ on the planet by a number ofpeople for various reasons. Best known for his role as 1/5th of Philadelphia’s most prolific and well respected DJ/Production crew, Illvibe Collective, he has made leaps beyond even his own expectations, making significant accomplishments while gaining the respect of his peers and mentors. As the main Philadelphia resident dj for Scion’s monthly and quarterly functions, Statik has been able to showcase his talents alongside the biggest DJs in the business. As a producer, Statik helped score the award winning film, Scene Not Heard. This step in Statik’s career seemed to be a natural progression from all the work he’s already been known for internationally as a radio personality, stage show DJ, writer, turntablist, and selector.
