Vod Recordings is an independent record label founded by Darian Worrell in 2002. Vod Recordings' first release was Balistic's full length album "Wilkesology Chapter One" in 2003, followed by the full length compilation album Vod Recordings Presents....ft. Xzit Xero, Spank, Shawty Rawls, Balistic, and Emory V, and Spank's critically acclaimed full length album "Point Blank". Other artists who have released single or full length projects on Vod Recordings include Bays, Mr. Dar, Deep Green, Xzit Xero, J Sarge & DJ F.U. These artist and their unique style of creativity, lyricism, and instrumentation have helped with the development and growth of Vod Recordings as an independent music label and to also maintain a certain quality and freshness of sound and street flavor. Vod Recordings ultimate goal is to provide listeners with an alternative to mainstream music and to explore different genre's of music including rock, folk, electronica, r & b, techno, house, and break beat.
