Marinela Jantoš - Ella, was born in Osijek, Croatia on January,21st, 1971...She is a third child(beside sister and brother) of father who originates from Slovakia, and mother who was born in a mixed family of Hungarian and Slavonian Croats...Her parents were musicians(father still plays accordion, mother has got an amazing voice)as a duet called:"Ona i Oni" - "Her and Them"...Marinela's brother is a drummer and their sister Mirela sometimes sings as a back vocal...
Ella started to sing as a 15 girl in her high school with a band "Koktel" from Našice...They performed their shows in hotels,in Slavonia, on the seaside of the Adriatic sea, Slovenia..After the short time, she became a member of Slovenian band "C'est la vie"...They had the tours across Italy,Switzerland,Finland...
In the early of 90's she had come back in Croatia and continued with recording the album from 86's...She met Dražen Stojčević, very talented musician who composed a new album in a dance rhythm - "Iza ponoći" - "After midnight",-
"CroatiaRecords" released it...The same named song from that album soon became a hit...
Since 2000. she has been paticipating on the Folk festival :"Zlatne žice Slavonije"("Golden strings of Slavonia")with songs:"Zora svanula"("Here comes a dawn"),"Srce od šećera"("Heart of sugar"),
"Bećaruša"(Rake woman"),"Ja samo čekam"("I just wait"),"Kad me lupi tambura"("When tambura hits me up")...
Ella is planning to work out some Croatian old city songs with modern arrangement...Ella wrote about twenty songs and she always knew that she wanted to be in the show business...In the year of 2005.her new discography house
"Kondorcomm", released her new album"Samo žena"("Only a woman")with 13 songs...
