blog post TigerDirect sells breadmakers?

I wouldn't have believed it, but there it was right in my email... kitchen appliances... from an internet computer store.

I've seen weird things at TigerDirect, but most of them actually relate to computers. Something I never expected to see - a 2-Pound Programmable Breadmaker. That's just weird.

But wouldn't you know it, from the page that has the breadmaker, there are links to other non-computer-related products. Apparently TigerDirect has become a one-stop-shop for everything electronics. Coffee-makers, ovens, wafflers, even a popcorn maker.

What will they sell next...

blog post Jaxtr Live - Now it's Time to Iron out the Kinks
Posted in Internet on Mar 20, 2007 at 10:38 PM
Tie your cell phone to a voip service. I signed up cause I'm spontaneous like that. However, I still can't figure out how to pick *my* time zone (which happens to be the same as Jaxtr, so surely *they* have some way to get the correct time) I've looked up some of these and many of the "America" ones happen to be in Mexico, which, of course, is "America"... but then why have some labeled Mexico, Canada, and US?

Boise, America
Cambridge Bay, America
Chihuahua, America
Dawson Creek, America
Denver, America
Edmonton, America
Hermosillo, America
Inuvik, America
Mazatlan, America
Phoenix, America
Shiprock, America
Yellowknife, America
Mountain, Canada
BajaSur, Mexico
Arizona, US
Mountain, US

This list was found here. (Login required - also, it may be updated by the time you read this)

So... anyone know which one of these is Pacific Time?

This is a game where you try to find the person who's name is missing from the snippet below.

______ opened the box and found her dog's head inside. The box also contained Valentine's Day candy.

Vista gave me this story in my sidebar-news-feed-reader-thing even though I deleted the feed (which came pre-installed) a few weeks ago. Sick, twisted Vista...

Poor dog...

First off we've got a wonderful recap of Mike Judge's latest effort, Idiocracy. This article summarizes the branding and graphic design throughout the movie.

Idiocratic Design

Next, an article with a great title. Makes ya wonder who comes up with these things...

Balls finally dropped into mud volcano

Finally, from an article yesterday about a new documentary on the supposed tomb of Jesus, the priceless quote: "Pastor Brick Wall of Victory Christian Life Center said he doesn't hold stock in the film's premise." .. standing 'firm and solid', 'never swaying', to 'hold up' his namesake. Seriously, I'm not making this up.

Have the bones of Jesus been found?

Yesterday's dinosaur comics is fantastic. In fact, today's is a thrilling sequel *about* thrilling sequels! All this talk about dinosaurs gets me thinking about that preview for that movie that had the T-Rex... yeah, that one.
