EvOn The Music Bully...
....Can Be Very "Sarcastic" - "Contreversal" -"Hard-Hitting" - "Clever wit her Lyriks" - shes coming with "Experimental Hip-Hop" ...yes She's The "UK Lesbian Rapper" Called EvOn ((Evey-D)) who has been in the Music industry for the past 14 years....
BREAK DOWN OF MY ACHIEVEMENTS:
Here are just some of a few things that i have managed to achieve:
I have worked with:
1994 No Sleep Nigel: Producer & Sound Engineer, famous for: Blades first albums and the mix of the Herbalizer albums (Ninja Tunes Label).
I also had the pleasure of recording a few tracks with no sleep back when my name was "Evey-D", and we managed to record a track called "juss Vybzin featuring Shaznay from All saints (a-side) & hell have no fury like a woman scorned (b-side)" which got continuous plays from Dj 279 (96.9 choice fm) and Max & Dave (kiss 100).
The single was released in 1994 on a 12" white lable (im not sure if you can still get it now, check ebay).
plus the "Juss vybzin " single was responcible for getting my first record deal with Warner Brothers and MCA: (AnR) was Mickey-D (He Signed Mark Morrison and Shola Ama back in 1995.)
My BIG Borther is Jay Scarlett from Spacek and Ampsoulradio and Beat dimensions (check out the track my bro produced for me on my playlist called "Juss Might")
I went on to record tracks for other producers for thier compliation albums such as:
D.S.P (dynamic Syncopation) - with a track called "Where is it" on the Album "in the red"
Plus we worked on a project together called "The Process" (..which i reckon can still happen!! with tracks like "Burn mics & Mimic"..((only selected underground heads know about them tunes there and about "THE PROCESS"!)
Hundred Strong (Altered vybes label): with a track called "What shall i rap about" on the Album "Basement Blues.
Travis blaq new album with a track called "Who r u?" with guest appearances from: Dominat-G & Apollo.
plus i have recorded with numorus of others:(too many to name..grrr..lol)
Presently im working with Jason Moe (Moezart from Nerol) on a NEW ALBUM.
PERFORMANCES
i have performed at many open mics and small performances across the UK and overseas.
I have Supported Djs And Promotors such as:
Dj Pogo & Mc Ty (Lyrical Lounge) from performing down at the Jazz cafe, camden and going on to supporting "Courtney Pine at the Cork Jazz Festival in southen Ireland, performing at venues like the "Royal Opera House and the "Metroploe Hotel".
I also got to perform with D.S.P following them on the Ninja Tunes tour to Paris on this amazing boat docked in front of a strong crowed of 5/6 thousand, that show was crazy and ended up down in the lower deck finishing off a great hip-hop affair.
Also with D.S.P and Ninja Tunes i got to perform down at the Cargos in Riverton street,..."where i had to wait for over an hour for some "up his own arse DJ" ( he know's who is is...you was also there in paris!..lol remeber, i wonder if that was the reason why you did what you did)) anyways..after the people at cargos thought it was over, i managed to climb all over the other persons & bands equipment and still fuk up the crowed and bring it back to the real essance of HIP-HOP not Fukin D&B..prick...lol(im not bitter..it makes me who i am..) so the crowed had something to remeber...Number one Female Rapper EvOn (yes im modest)"
also with D.S.P i managed to Perform at the famous London Astoria supporting the Herbilzier infront of an amazing crowed.
I have supported Masta Ace & Punch and wordsworth at the scarla kingscross, apart of the (Lyrical Lounge) band (dj pogo and ty)
I have opened up for Talib Kwali in east london a place called 93east, that was a great show and a great experiance to open for one of my fave rappers.
and not forgetting in my eailer years when i was 15 and just starting out i managed to get a show from Dj 279 & Big Ted's flava of the month show, which i did twice, once down at the Borderline and when it moved to Subtorainia in ladbrook grove.
And my most fondest experiance was when i Got picked to go up on stage at the Fugees concert at Wembly Arena in 1996 in front of a 20 thousand strong crowed, where i (literally) stole the mic from Pras and did my thang and tore it up...lol..(come on im aloud to big myself up, that was a dream for me truss..)
Recently i have done the Once a month Nerol show case down at the Brixtons Babalou.
and not forgetting my dear peoples "the LGBT comunity" where i have performed at the Black Pride in regents park, Uk Peace out 2 at the ditch bar east london, and the Oakbar north london.
Also i flew to NYC for the 2008 Pride where i was invited to open up for the number one biggest female lesbian rap group KIN4LIFE from the USA, now that was a trip to remeber and what a great crowed and experiance that was.....(( plus rumors has it that the LGBT promotors are erdging for me to get out out there and go across all 52 states. so lets make it happen.))
