In the user's Profile page, click the add friend link located below user's profile icon.

Please note users can set their general privacy so that nobody can add them as a friend. If this is the case, you may not see the add friend link in user's Profile page.

Navigate to your main Friends page. On the right of each of your friends, you will find the remove friend link.

From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Invite. Then send your friends invitations to imeem or import your friends from Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL, Outlook and more.

One way to search for a friend is to enter their name in the Search box. You will be able to filter the search results by People.

Another way to search for your friend is to go to your user Homepage and scroll to the Quick Find section. Enter your friend's email address in the provided textbox. You will have the option to invite them to imeem (if they have not joined), add them to your Friends network (if they are not already), or view their existing Profile page.

The best way to meet new people is to visit our imeem Community page. To do this, click the "community" link in the top navigation bar. In the top, select the "People" tab. Then you can search for the most popular people on imeem or random users in the community.

Navigate to your Profile page and click Friends in your profile navigation bar. On the right, click the Best Friends link and then click the Edit link at the top. You can select up to 24 best friends by dragging their profile picture to the lower box. Click the Save button to update the changes.

A group is a great way to connect with others who share the same interest as you. You can hold group discussions on a favorite film or band , a specific topic. upcoming event, and much more. If you are an artist, director, or imeem partner, a group will help you connect with your fans, share your latest music or film, and update them with concert dates or movie premieres. It's like having your own channel.

To create a group, click here .

Navigate to the group you would like to join. Click the Join link located in the top right of the page.

Navigate to your Homepage. In the top menu bar, select Create followed by Group. You will have the option to create a private or public group.

From your group's Homepage, click the Edit link next to the group name. In the Basic tab, you will be able to edit your group's name. Click the Save button to update the change. Please note that only the owner of the group can edit the group name.

To remove a group you joined, navigate to your main Groups page. On the right of the group icon, you will find the remove group link.

To remove a group you created, navigate to your group. At the top, click the Edit link. Then select the Moderators tab and you will see an option to remove this group.

Navigate to a group you would like to invite your friends to. At the top right of the page, click the Invite or Recommend link and tell your friends who are not part of the imeem network to join. Please note that you will not be able to invite others to a private group if you are not the group's owner.

Navigate to your group and click the Edit link next to the group name. Then click the Theme tab. To edit your current group theme, go to the top section and click the Edit Theme link under the preview box. To select a new theme, click the Sample Themes or Premium Themes tab and pick the desired theme background. To personalize this theme, click the Edit Theme link (if available).

In the Theme Editor page, you will be able to choose your general font settings, background color, wallpaper background, header image, section headers, and much more! Please note each blue box will have an arrow pointing to an example section you will be editing. When you are done, don’t forget to click the Save Theme button. Your new settings will be applied to your group page.

You are not able to change the privacy of a group after it's been created. Members have joined assuming the content shared in the group stays private. The best thing to do is to delete the group and create a new one with the desired privacy settings.

Group moderators can create group blog posts (if owner permits), send a message, and invite people to this group (if it's a private group). In addition to all this, group owners can make members Moderators, add custom group profile properties, and control what type of content members can upload.

As a member of a public group, you can invite people to the group, create posts, and upload videos, music, and photos (if owner permits). As a member of a private group, you can create posts and upload photos (if owner permits). Music and videos cannot be uploaded to a private group. Only members in the private group will be able to view the group homepage, members, and content.

Click the upload link in the top navigation bar. Next select Upload Photos and then select if you'd like to put it in your profile or a group.

Navigate to the photo you wish to remove. Then click the Delete Photo link located right below the content.

Currently, this feature is not available. All new photos added to imeem will be available to the public. We are aware of this and working on improving the Photo Uploader to include this feature soon.

imeem is self-policed. If a content you find is offensive, you can give it a low rating. This will help determine if the content is featured and if it should be removed or not. For more immediate action, you can report an abuse or click the link Report in the page where the content was found. imeem will take appropriate actions.

The first thing to do is to set your general privacy settings so that nobody (or only your friends) can chat with you, send you messages, or link to you. If the problem persists, please contact imeem support with a description of the situation. imeem will take appropriate actions.

You can have your child a href="http://www.imeem.com/deleteaccount.aspx">remove their imeem account on their own. If the problem persist, you can contact imeem support with the following information: your full name, your address (for verifying identity), your child's imeem account information, and the link to their imeem profile. imeem will take appropriate actions.
