How do I set my profile picture?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by My Picture. On the left of the page, click the Browse button to search for a new image. When you are done click the Save button to update your profile picture.
How do I remove my profile picture?
Once you have selected a profile picture, you cannot revert back to imeem's default picture or set a blank image. The best thing to do is to replace your current profile picture with another image or select from our collection of fun imeem icons.
How do I edit my display name?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by My Info. In your Basic category, you will be able to edit your first and last name and set the privacy level for each. At the bottom of the page, click the Save button to update the changes.
How do I change my background color?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by Profile Theme. On the left, click the Edit Current Theme link. In the Theme Editor page, scroll to the Wallpaper Background blue box (on the right) and click the Edit link inside. In the popup box, click the Background Color box. Select the desired color and then click ok to close the color selector. Last, click the Ok button to close the popup box and then click the Save Theme button to update your background color.
How do I edit my background theme?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by Profile Theme. On the left, click the Edit Current Theme link. To select a new theme, select one from the sample themes. To personalize a selected theme, click the Edit Theme link.

In the Theme Editor page, you will be able to choose your general font settings, change your wallpaper background, set your header image, edit section headers, and much more! Please note each blue box will have an arrow pointing to an example section you will be editing. When you are done, don’t forget to click the Save Theme button. Your new settings will be applied to your Profile page.
How do I add a picture to my background?
From your user Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by Profile Theme. On the left, click the Edit Current Theme link. In the Theme Editor page, scroll to the Wallpaper Background blue box (on the right) and click the Edit link inside. In the popup box, go to the Background Image section. To upload an image from your computer, click the upload image link. To enter the image's URL, click the Enter URL link. Click the Ok button to close the popup box and then click the Save Theme button to update the changes. Your Profile page will now display your picture in the background.
How do I revert back to the default imeem layout?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by Profile Theme. From the Sample Themes, select the imeem Default theme and click the Apply Theme link.
How do I set a profile header?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by Profile Theme. On the left, click the Edit Current Theme link. In the Theme Editor page, click the Edit link inside the blue box called Page Header (near the top) . In the popup box, you will be able to enter a URL to an image or upload an image directly from your computer. Click the Start Upload button to add the new image. Now click the Ok button to close the box and then click the Save Theme button to update the changes. Please note header images must not be taller than 200px or wider than 900px.
How do I remove a profile header?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by Profile Theme. On the left, click the Edit Current Theme link. In the Theme Editor page, click the Edit link inside the blue box called Page Header (near the top). In the popup box, you will find your current image file. Next to the file name, click the clear link. Now, click the Ok button to close the box and then click the Save Theme button to update the changes.
How do I purchase additional themes?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Edit Profile followed by Profile Theme. Then select the Premium Themes tab.

How do I stop receiving emails every time someone shares a photo, video, or song?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Account Settings followed by the Email Settings tab. Manage all your email notifications here and click Save to update the settings.
How do I preapprove comments left on my Profile?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Account Settings followed by the Privacy Settings tab. Then select the must approve profile comments checkbox if you want to review your friend's comment before it appears in your Profile page.
How do I make my profile private?
You cannot restrict others from visiting your Profile page. However, you can set your profile information to private so that only your friends or nobody can view it. To do this, go to your Homepage. In the top menu bar, select Edit Profile followed by My Info. You will be able to edit the privacy level for each relevant information. At the bottom of each page, click the Save button to update your Profile information and its privacy settings.

You can also control who can send you messages, add you as a friend, add a comment to your Profile, or invite you to a group. To do this, go to the top menu bar and select Account Settings followed by the Privacy Settings tab and set your general privacy permissions here.
How do I block someone from contacting me?
To prevent others from sending your messages, go to your Homepage. In the top menu bar, select Account Settings followed by the Privacy Settings tab and set it so nobody can send you messages.
How do I change my e-mail address?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Account Settings followed by the Change Email tab. For security reasons, you will need to enter your current password and then submit your new e-mail address. imeem will send you an email verification to the new address. In the email, you must click the verification link to complete the change email process.
How do I change my password?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Account Settings followed by the Change Password tab. For security reasons, you will need to enter your current password and then submit your new password.
How do I create a custom URL for my profile?
Each account can have its own custom URL or webtag (http://webtag.imeem.com/). From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Account Settings followed by the Choose Webtag tab and enter a personal webname. Please make sure you choose your webtag carefully since it cannot be changed.
How do I change my custom URL for my Profile?
You cannot change your custom webtag once you have selected one. The best thing to do is to sign up for a new imeem account. Then you will be able to choose a different webname for this account.
Why does it say the URL that I want is not available but when I enter the URL the page is not found?
The desired webtag could be associated with a deleted account. Another user may have selected the same webtag but removed their account therefore the page is not found. When an account is removed, the webtag associated with it will not be freed up for others to use. All webtags must be unique.
Can I disable my Friend Updates page?
The Friend Updates page keeps you connected in your imeem network. You can see what your friends are up to in imeem, what new playlists were created by your friends, what groups your friends have just joined, the latest blogs they have just posted, and much more. You'll always know what your friends on imeem are doing.

You will not be able to disable this page at this time.
How do I keep my friends from seeing my play history?
From your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select What's New followed by Media Tracker. In the top section, click the preferences link. You will have the options to only show your play history to your best friends or to disable your entire Media Tracker. Once you have disabled this feature, you cannot track what your friends have listened to and vice versa.

You can also remove individual items from your Media Tracker. To do this, click the X on the right of the content you want to remove.
How do I remove my imeem account?
To remove your account, click here. Please note that by removing your account, all of your groups, videos, music, playlists, photos, blogs, and comments will be deleted. Your webtag will not be available for use in another account.

    How do I change my billing information?
    You can change your billing information by editing your preferences on the “VIP Settings tab.” Click here or from your Homepage, go to the top menu bar and select Account Settings followed by the VIP Settings tab.
    What does the "edit a copy of the photo" feature mean?
    Just navigate to any photo on imeem and click the Edit a copy of this photo link. You will then be able to edit and save a copy of that photo to your imeem profile.
    Where do I go to view stats on all music, video, and playlists on imeem?
    Just navigate to the About box on any song, video, or playlist and click the view stats link.
    How do I find the Tracking Code in my Google Analytics Account?
    Google Analytics allows you to track detailed statistics about the visitors to your imeem profile. Here are the steps to add Google Analytics to your profile:

    Create a Google Analytics account for your profile (If you already have a Google Analytics account, please skip to the next section).
    1. Sign up for a Gmail account
    2. Once you have a Gmail account, go to http://www.google.com/analytics and sign in using your Gmail address and password
    3. Click “Sign up” for Google Analytics
    4. Enter www.imeem.com in “Website’s URL.”
    5. Enter whatever account name you choose plus your country and time zone.
    6. Complete Google Analytics account sign-up
    7. Copy and paste the Tracking Code (either New or Legacy Tracking Code) into the “Google Analytics” field on imeem’s VIP Account Settings and click “save.”
    8. Return to your Google Analytics page and click “Finish.”
    9. Google Analytics will be applied to your site within 24 hours. Continue to sign-in to your Google Analytics account for detailed information about visitors to your imeem profile page!

    Wait, I already have a Google Analytics account! What do I do now?
    1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account using your Gmail address and password.
    2. Once logged in, click the “Add Website Profile” link.
    3. Select “Add a Profile for a new domain” option. Enter www.imeem.com and click “Continue.”
    4. Copy and paste the Tracking Code (either Legacy or New Tracking Code) into the “Google Analytics” field on imeem’s VIP Account Settings and click “save.”
    5. Return to your Google Analytics page and click “Finish.”
    6. Google Analytics will be applied to your profile within 24 hours. Continue to sign-in to your Google Analytics account for detailed information about visitors to your imeem profile page!
    How do I disable my VIP account?
    Go to your VIP Account Settings and click the "cancel my VIP service" link.
