A Message From Robin

Hello to all friends of GBs from Robin Wilson.

I’m involved in something extraordinary. In September I am climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa with LOVEHOPESTRENGTH.ORG, a cancer charity founded by Mike Peters of The Alarm. We are raising money for the Cancer Center in Nairobi, Africa and we need your help.

Mike Peters and myself join Slim Jim Phantom of Stray Cats, Glenn Tillbrook of Squeeze, Cy Curnin of The Fixx and others to face the challenge of climbing to 19,300ft. You can get involved by making a donation or purchasing a prayer flag, which will be inscribed with the name of a loved one and then I will personally place it atop Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Obviously this is among the biggest physical and personal challenges I will face in my lifetime. I am fortunate to have this opportunity and take none of it for granted. Frankly, I’m pretty scared. Please join me and show support by visiting LOVEHOPESTRENGTH.ORG.

I lost my father to cancer when I was 17. Twenty years later, I lost my step-father of 18 years to cancer. I'll be praying for your safety in this expedition, and for all those accompanying you. It's great to see how many charitable foundations are supported by GBs. Thanks and God Bless!!

You are a wonderful person Robin. I am a 9 yr breast cancer survivor & all I have to say is Good Luck to you. You are amazing....
