Welcome to Spring Everyone
I Hope that Life in ’09 is showin’ each and every one of you Big Smiles that say YES, in spite of the world’s economic woes!
I wanted you all to know that a few weeks ago my youngest daughter Hope, the one studying at Spelman College in the AUC/ATL, informed me, that on the advice of a prominent feature film maker, she had to decided to post her new / (first directorial effort) film short entitled “I'll Bring 'Em Everyday” on the new Veoh Network instead of You Tube. At first, I did not think that was a good idea, but I must say, “I’m starting to come around!” When Hope stuck to her guns, I decided to surf and Google Veoh, and what I found was an impressive two year old Internet Television service that allows users to find and watch major studio content, independent productions and some quality user-generated material. I also found that, Veoh is the official online distributor of content from a number of major media companies including CBS, ABC, The WB, Viacom's MTV Networks, ESPN, FEARNet, Billboard, Ford Models Online, US Weekly, and TV Guide to name a few. The independent creators I found on Veoh are impressive as well and include hot new up-starts like NextNewNetworks, 60 Frames, Can We Do That?, Goodnight Burbank, and now, thanx to my daughter Hope the student filmmaker, my company; “View-Trend* More Than digital” is also new content provider on the Veoh Network.

With that said, last week we test posted a few clips including a compressed and a non-compressed render of the “I'll Bring 'Em Everyday” short, and both seem to stream very nicely. Judging from the positive critique of a veteran filmmaker and the initial Veoh views, folks seem to enjoy watching Hope’s short. So, I’m very pleased to now invite all of you to check out the MySpace World Premiere of my daughter’s first film short, which incorporates an artistic music and dance video production montage set against the acoustic version of the song written and recorded last year by Joe Silva and myself, also entitled, “I'll Bring 'Em Everyday”.
Now, if you like it Hope’s film short and you want to support and encourage her, and the talented cast and crew she teamed with in this production effort, please feel free to share and repost her video on your spaces, and in your bulletins and/or blogs. As we all know, good positive feedback is always a welcome comment! Also, you will be able to purchase the digital download and ringtone of our song
“I'll Bring 'Em Everyday” on Amazon’s Mp3 starting on April 21st, and later on iTunes and Rhapsody in May.
Alright Then BoiZ and Gurlz
As always, I very much appreciate your Friendship and the continuing Luv and Support!!!
p.s. . . . For my International friends, I was informed that in May 2008, the Veoh servers were systematically made temporarily unavailable to several markets (in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, Central and Eastern Europe) and have been or are currently still being systematically brought back onto Veoh rapidly evolving and expanded new broadcast servers! So, I would really appreciate your feedback, as to whether you all are able to view the Veoh links now via MySpace server embedding in those affected markets??? Thank You in advance . . . GD
