Producer. Songwriter. Musician. Innovator. Phenomenon. Brian Kennedy. At the age of four, Kennedy taught himself to play piano. Sensing his amazing talent, his parents immediately enrolled him in classical piano lessons. By age 18, he was generating interest as one of the industry's top up-and-coming producers. Since 2001, Kennedy has not only created shock waves with his work as a producer, but he has added another skill to his creative arsenal---as a songwriter. Kennedy caught his first break in 2006 with “My Love”, a track off Ciara's platinum sophomore effort "The Evolution" which he produced and co-wrote. Soon after, he signed a world-wide publishing deal with Universal Publishing. And things just keep getting better. In fact, since the Ciara project, Kennedy has worked with many of today's top artists, producers and songwriters, including Nelly, Timbaland, Polow da Don, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Hudson, Corbin Blue, Natasha Bedingfield, Andre Merritt and J. Valentine. He has also worked with award-winning entertainer Jamie Foxx, production powerhouses Harvey Mason Jr. and Damon Thomas (of the Grammy award-winning production team the Underdogs), Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and legendary songwriter Diane Warren. Now, at 24, Kennedy has added to an already impressive (and growing) list of accolades, notching singles with Rihanna (“Disturbia”), Jesse McCartney (“It’s Over” and “Runnin”), Meech (“Thicka Than A Snicka”), and Noel (“I Fell”). He also co-wrote and co-produced Chris Brown's hit single “Forever” and has netted his first gig as Executive Producer working with Brandy on her upcoming untitled album, set to release in 2009. While his credits read like a seasoned veteran, the young phenom is still etching his way to the top of his game. His music is electric and his talent is genius. And before he’s finished, Brian Kennedy will likely be able to add yet another word to his growing list of accomplishments… Legend.
