About dj ozone Los Angeles based DJ Ozone traces his musical inspiration to his youth and the years he spent in Africa as a traditional Nigerian drummer. Those rhythmic skills mastered in his mothers little village have been transferred to the big city as he leads the pack of up and coming dancehall selectas dropping reggae heat in LAs most exclusive venues. Music tells a story and DJ Ozone offers several chapters of his unique musical vision. His style is firmly rooted in Culture, but he constantly adapts to the latest riddims and trends to hit the urban scene. Club goers immediately respond to the potent mix of Hip-Hop, R&B, and the hottest riddims out of Jamaica he applies to the dance floor. As a dancer himself, he is the dancers top choice DJ. When di massive see DJ Ozones name on a flyer dey know its time fi a true yard style dancing session. DJ Ozone is also a dynamic producer with several hot artists in his roster poised to bring the heat for the years ahead. DJ Ozone loves all forms of musical expression, but he has a special place in his soul for the various forms of Jamaican music. Reggae, Dancehall, Roots, and Culture reflects the reality of life. The creative vybz of Reggae music inspires DJ Ozone to reach new musical heights. But for him, perhaps the most important aspect is the Spirituality that can be found in the Reggae World. Also, Alternative Hip-Hop is well represented by Wyclef Jean, Knaan, and Gym Class Heroes!!!!...And as far as Hip-Hop goes...I mean I like to "Crank Dat Souljah Boy" like everybody else but where is the balance yo??????....Whatever happened to the other side, the conscious, intelligent and thought provoking Hip-Hop lyricism we used to have?????.....Well Dj Ozone is bringing it back, proving that HIP-HOP IS NOT DEAD!!!!
