TRAX is a band made up of 3 members from South Korea. The band first formed in 2004 by SM Entertainment. Their name, TRAX, actually stands for “recording tracks” and it also the first letter of each member of the band (excluding Rose, who is not currently in the band anymore). Even with Rose’s absence (they have been using support drummers, including Choi Si Won of Super Junior), the band continues to record and play music and have just released their newest album “초우 (First Rain)”. They are popular in Japan as well as Korea.

Typhoon (Lead Vocals/Rap/Guitar):
Born: April 8, 1984
Real Name: Jay Kim

Typhoon grew up in California, USA. During this time, he was greatly influenced by hip-hop and other American music. He met his friends through music. He has often called Kim Hee Chul of the group Super Junior his "girlfriend". The two have been good friends while living together since their days as SM Entertainment trainees. Typhoon's next goal in life is to get some of his writing printed.

Attack (Bass/BG & Shouting Vocals):
Born: June 15, 1985
Real Name: Kang Jung Woo
Nickname: "Dul Bong"
Blood Type: O
Height: 181cm / 5’9”
Weight: 61kg / 134 lbs
Strong and determined, Attack is the "babysitter" of the band. He doesn't like cameras much, and he is strong and stoic. Attack can play 4, 5, 6, and 7-stringed bass as well as guitar. His main instrument is the Sonus 5 and Ampeg SVT Classic Amplifier with 810 Union.

X-Mas (Guitar/Keyboard/BG Vocals):

Real Name: Kim Jung Mo
Nickname: "Gammo"

Height: 184cm / 6’0”
Weight: 64kg / 141 lbs
X-mas doesn't like to talk much, but apparently he was popular in school and is a complete dork. ^_^ Rose claims that X-mas always brings him food and other things, so he is obviously a kind person. His past bands include B.W. Revolution, Risk, and four others.

Rose likes strawberry milk, sushi, bread, rain, awareness, smallness, America, burnt things, chicken, strawberry, strawberry hemp cloth, bin su lifestyle, fruit, Republic of Ghana, chocolate, donut bazaars, hunting, tulips, chubby girls with big shoes, long black hair, and round foreheads, and auditions. He is the baby of the group and he likes to goof off a lot. He is talented, but competitive and somewhat bratty. Rose likes to dress in feminine punk clothes (especially pink). Rose wants to be heard from many stages. His life and only love is music. On May 10, 2006, Avex Trax announced on their official website that Rose left TRAX to pursue other interests. He is currently the guitarist for the underground four-member rock band "The Romantist". He attends Seoul Art College and studies art.
