The first season of Full Metal Panic (FMP) places us in a delicate world where peace is as fragile as an egg shell. With counties and terrorist organizations vying for power, the world is being protected by Mithril, an invisible military organization. Operating in shadow, Mithril is a counter terrorist group that posses “Black Technology.”
What is Black Technology? Where does it come from? Who are the Whispered? And why does second year, Kaname Chidori from Jindai High School need Sgt Sagara to protect her? Find out in the exciting first season of Full Metal Panic.
Secret crushes, homework, and kidnappings are all in a days work for Souske Sagara. In the second season of Full Metal Panic!, the laughs are nonstop when we follow the daily hi-jinx of Souske, Kaname and all the gang.. Unaccustomed to normal civilian life, the grenades start flying as Souske uses extreme methods to tackle everyday situations. High school life was never like this! A group of thugs, a rival ruby team, and yes- the mafia, stack the odds against our hero. But wait, what’s this? He’s furry, has big ears, and a green hat, it’s Bonta Kun! And it’s an Arm Slave suit?! The laughs are nonstop as you’ll soon find out in the second season of Full Metal Panic!’s Fumoffu.
Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid is a dark counter part in the series arc. Unlike its previous successors, Kaname is left to fend on her own. Sgt Sousuke Sagara gets reassigned and a secret agent named, Wraith takes over. Who is this man? Why doesn’t he help and what are his true motives?
With Inner demons affecting his confidence, Sousuke finds himself in unfamiliar territory. Wandering about aimlessly, he searches for answers while a battle rages on. To make matters worst, a ghost from the past appears and the terrorist organization Amalgam makes a bold move to disrupt the peace in the region.
For many of us, we first got introduced to Mikuni Shimokawa (Shimokawa Mikuni) after listening to the opening music of Full Metal Panic!. Born on March 19, 1980, Mikuni was a former member of the jpop girl group, Checkicco. With songs like, "Tomorrow" and "Sore Ga Ai Deshou" this singer/ songwriter helped launched the series into anime fame. In her spare time she enjoys, karaoke, keeping fit, and sending emails. Mikuni's voice can also be heard in other animes such as; Kino's Journey, Kino's Travels, Saiyuki, and Grenadier to name a few. She was also casted as the voice of Takami Amemiya in episode 6 of FMP Fumoffo.
