Danny Gokey (born April 24, 1980) is a 28 year old church music teacher from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, auditioned in Kansas City, Missouri along with his best friend Jamar Rogers. He made it through Hollywood rounds along with Rogers. Rogers was eliminated before making it in the top 36.
