It is pretty strange... I'm hoping there's a good reason, and it's not just a casting problem... the show can't afford production slip-ups, just because of it's nature.
Maybe it has to do with the whole 31 Minutes thing? Or maybe it's like a superpower? Ethan had, like, super strength... maybe Richard has Ageless Powers. Haha.
