It began after the theft of the Freedom Gundam, when Siegel Clyne and his family were branded as traitors in addition to his followers. Lacus Clyne had to go and begin an underground campaign of resistance against Patrick Zala's ideals by promoting peace at first by using the radio. Later on, they successfully take over a ship of their own known as the Eternal, and continues to promote the ideal of peace between all people.
