About: Derby Girl is an Original four-member Pop/R&B Band in the vein of 3LW, B2k, and TLC. The group is currently on a West Coast High School/Middle School tour in support of their Debut Album titled “Introducing Derby Girl". Derby Girls’ live performance is a high-energy review suited for Teens, trendy clubs, and mainstream teen tours. Derby Girl performs to tracks and with a 4 piece backing band depending on the venue.

History: Derby Girl was signed to Blisstunes Recording Corp. in August of 2007. Their single "We Bout It" has garnered over 800,000 plays on MySpace.com and is quickly becoming a fan favorite. Still very much a band in development, Derby Girl has already performed more than 80 shows and have directly impacted over 100,000 teens in and around the Los Angeles area in 2008.

The single "We Bout It" explodes through the speakers, an electronic fusion that is just as much Urban as it is Dance. “White T’s, Stunna Shades, Crispy Creams” is the hook, and here we get a clue as to “why dem boys dress the way they do” - cause girls like it!
