Description
All for one and one for all-----PEACE-------

It is beauty never seen,
And love that stands alone,
It is song that lives un-sung,
And knowledge never known

To it the tear-drop goes,
To spread the smiling form
It is the Goal of Life,
And Peace -- its only home

War and Peace

Man invents war. Man discovers peace.
He invents war from without.
He discovers peace from within.
War man throws. Peace man sows.
The smile of war is the flood of human blood.
The smile of peace is the love, below, above.

Peace is the whole truth that wishes to enrapture humanity.
War is the whole falsehood that wants to capture humanity.
Peace begins in the soul and ends in the heart.
War begins in the mind and ends in the body.

War forgets peace. Peace forgives war.
War is the death of the life human. Peace is the birth of the Life Divine.
Our vital passions want war.
Our psychic emotions desire peace.
War is clear futility in dire spear-stupidity.
Peace is flowing infinity in glowing eternity.

Man seeks war when he thinks that the world is not his.
Man invites war when he feels that he can conquer the world.
Man proclaims war when he dreams
That the world has already surrendered to him.

Man seeks peace because his earthly existence desperately needs it.
Man welcomes peace because he feels
that in peace alone is his life of achievement and fulfilment.
Man spreads peace because he wants to transcend death.

The animal in man wars against peace in the outer world,
in the world of conflicting ideas.
The divine in man wars against ignorance in the inner world,
in the world of mounting ideals.

The animal in man wants war for the sake of war,
war to devour the snoring world.
The divine in man wants peace for the sake of peace,
peace to feed the hungry world.

Right now fear, doubt, anxiety, tension, and disharmony

Are reigning supreme.

But there will come a time when this world of ours

Will be flooded with peace.

Who is going to bring about this radical change?

It will be you; you and your sisters and brothers.

You and your oneness – heart will spread peace

Throughout the length and breadth of the world

God has infinite children,

But the name of His fondest child

Is Peace.

save elephants india hersche - hersche

For thousands of years, the majestic elephant has roamed the African continent, as beloved by man as it has been preyed upon. But centuries of exploitation and ivory hunting have taken their toll: now, as wars and poachers

The Ecological Impact of the Elephant is Priceless!

Elephants provide a vital role in the ecosystem they inhabit.
They modify their habitat by converting savannah and woodlands to grasslands
Elephants can provide water for other species by digging water holes in dry riverbeds
the depressions created by their footprints and their bodies trap rainfall
Elephants act as seed dispersers by their fecal matter. It is often carried below ground by dung beetles and termites causing the soil to become more aerated and further distributing the nutrients
Their paths act as firebreaks and rain water conduits
An Elephants journey through the high grass provides food for birds by disturbing small reptiles, amphibians or insects.

Elephants in circuses are rebelling in attempts to escape their sad existence. Since 1990, elephants have killed at least 18 people and injured many more. In 1994, an elephant killed her trainer and injured 12 spectators before being gunned down by almost 100 bullets while running terrified through downtown Honolulu. In 1994, officer Blayne Doyle, who had to shoot 47 rounds into Janet, an elephant who charged out of the Great American Circus arena, noted: "I think these elephants are trying to tell us that zoos and circuses are not what God created them for. But we have not been listening

Martin Luther King Jr. taught ppl that the fight against oppression is never an easy one. It's even harder when you have no voice. For animals held captive in circuses, life consists of cramped cages, shackles, and daily beatings. There's no escape. They can't demand their freedom. Images like these bring only one word to mind: slavery. Be an abolitionist for the animals. Please don't go to the circus

To aid in ensuring a future for elephants in the years to come. Through education and forming an understanding of the Elephant, we think the world will become a "better" place. It is our goal to insure future generations can grow up to see their magnificence without iron bars. From promoting the people who help elephants directly or indirectly, promoting further ecological research, and by making people aware of their beauty and sensitivity we believe they can be saved."

Inner Peace

I know you're sometimes frightened, don't be.
I know you're always fighting for what you believe,
But have some faith in me, there is no need
'Cause I will always be beside you.

Inner Peace

So tell me…

Will you ever feel peace inside?
Will you some day feel complete?
Will you ever be at ease in life?
Or will you run eternally?

Inner Peace

Why do I think I know what you need?
I guess I should be asking you; What do you need?
But give me time and I will learn. Oh Yeah.
And never again I'll think I know you.

inner peace

So tell me…

Well, I suppose I have a tendency to think I know it all.
But sometimes I shouldn’t assume anything,
I should simply ask I know that now.
Please forgive my ignorance

peace is inside us

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you.
All you can do is be someone who can be loved
The rest is up to them.

I've learned that no matter how much I care,
some people just don't care back.

I've learned that sometimes when my friends fight,
I'm forced to choose sides even when I don't want to

I've learned that it takes years to
build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it

I've learned that it's not what you have in your life
but who you have in your life that counts

I've learned that you can get by on charm
for about fifteen minutes.
After that, you'd better know something

I've learned that it's a lot easier
to react than it is to think

I've learned that no matter how thin you slice it,
there are always two sides

I've learned that regardless of how
hot and steamy a relationship is at first,
the passion fades and there had better be
something else to take its place

Einstein

I've learned that you shouldn't
compare yourself to the best others can do
but to the best you can do
