Over the centuries there have been many interpretations of what angels are.
The dictionary defines angels as:" a spiritual being believed to act as an attendant or messenger of God, conventionally represented as being of human form with wings and possessing great kindness and virtue."
Angels are beings of light who have chosen to undertake their learning purely on the spiritual plane. Angels normally take the physical image of winged messengers however they can appear in other forms to suit the needs of the person they desire to help.
There are many diverse, conflicting beliefs among the Different races, cultures and religions, but one thing they all have in Common is a belief in angels, no matter what they call them. Angelic Beings act as a transition team during times of great change, such as we are presently experiencing.
If we will just open our minds and hearts to the possibility that angels exist and ask for their assistance, they will inspire us, help us create health and abundance, and live in peace and joy. They radiate unconditional love and will help us do the same. However, we must ask for their assistance as we have free will and they will not infringe. I never feel alone, I always have my angel friend beside me to give me guidance, wisdom and comfort. Turn inward and ask, your guardian angel is waiting for you.
Biblical angels fulfill a variety of functions, including conveying information to mortals, shielding, rescuing, and caring for Israelites, and smiting Israel's enemies. The Book of Daniel includes a number of ideas about angels that would be elaborated upon in post-Biblical tests, including named angels and guardian angels, that all the nations of the world have their own angelic prince, that angels are arranged hierarchically, and that angels have delimited spheres of authority.
