Wonder Girls (Korean: 원더걸스) is a South Korean girl band. They are produced by singer-songwriter Park Jin-Young and are signed to his talent agency, JYP Entertainment.Each of the five original members were selected by audition; the oldest, Ye Eun, was the last member to be added, after having previously been rejected.
They debuted on 11 February 2007 on M! Countdown, singing Irony, the title song of their debut album, "The Wonder Begins".
On June 25, 2007, member Ahn Soh Hee tore a knee ligament after falling off a motorcycle during the filming of 뜨거운 것이 좋아 (Some Like It Hot).
On July 30, 2007, Kim Hyun A dropped out of the group due to chronic gastroenteritis. Pending an announcement from JYPE on whether she will be replaced, the remaining members have since cut back on public appearances.
On September 4, 2007,Hyun A's official replacement would be 19 year old Kim Yoo Bin. JYPE was quoted saying, "She has a body full of charm and a sense of maturity way beyond her actual age. Alongside that, there is also has a cute side to her. She's trained for 2 years prior to joining Wonder Girls. Yoo Bin, who's love is in Hip Hop, has excellent skills in rap and thus got the rap position in Wonder Girls.
Wonder Girls' first Album is scheduled to be released September 13, 2007.
On September 26,2008 the Wonder Girls cameback and did their first performance of their new hit song "Nobody".
On October 2,2008 the Wonder Girls will release their second mini alum titled "Nobody"
