Born in London Gari Glaysher is no ordinary tenor and comes to the stage with no ordinary story. Imagine for one moment: becoming a heavy-weight boxer, a 3 times Tae-Kwon-Do National Champion and a lead guitarist/singer in a rock group.
Gari has realized his dream in the most magnificent way. He became focused and totally dedicated to reach a status of great standing in the world of opera. Today he has tens of thousands of fans across the globe. Glowing comments are coming in thick and fast from every quarter about his voice, looks and personality. The praise is richly deserved for a humble man whose roots are never forgotten.
Gari began his musical studies with piano and guitar; he has coached with prominent vocal coach Fernando Bandera in Italy and also worked with many music coaches from The Guildhall School of Music and Trinity School of Music and is studying with Raymond Connell at the Guildhall School of music and drama.
Gari has sung for Prince Albert of Monaco and HRH Sophie The Countess of Wessex and has performed in opera and on the concert stage in England, Italy, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Spain and Canada. Venues have included The Royal Albert Hall, The Studio Theatre in The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, The Port Theatre (Vancouver), Hever Castle, The Royal Courts of Justice, The Natural History Museum, The Dali Museum, Squeryes Court, Chartwell and Groombridge Place.

He studies with Raymond Connell (Singing teacher), Robyn Sevastos (Music coach), Ludmilla Andrew ( Music coach), Eileen Bendell (Drama coach) and has coached with prominent vocal coach Fernando Bandera in Italy. He has also worked with many music coaches from The Guildhall School of Music and Trinity School of Music.
His first step into grand opera was as Cavaradossi in Tosca, followed by Don Jose in (Carmen), Turiddu (Cav), Canio (Pag), Rodolfo (Boheme) Alfredo (Trav) and Radames (Aida).
