I got into Donna Summer in 1989. In fact, I was born when disco went underground. Just my luck, seemed like fun. Back in 1995, when I first heard "This Time I Know it's For Real", then I heard "Last Dance" I was hooked. Being a fan of Minogue's made it pretty easy to enjoy Donna as well. I go crazy for anything S.A.W. In the months to come expect to see news and information regarding the great Donna Summer. The music business has totally changed, the same rules do not apply to today's business model. I mean down to it's core! Check out the featured fanmix by "carlybabes", since it's from "Another Place and Time", I just had to. I hope it gets some spins! Leave some coments.
By February, I will start to blog, once I get my tech issues solved. If you have a "fanmix" or any other Donna Summer song, please upload on the proper section. This community is not as " clean" as "Multiply" (too many ads), but composers need to get paid too. What can you do?

Donna Summer. Buy from any offline store and get your digital downloads from iTunes, Amazon or Target. The dance charts have some real value, just not the same as radio. CHR is needed again. So as long as they continue to do a multi-formatted disk, we are cool. Many of the more popular fanmixes and classic album cuts will be featured on my playlists. The entire community here at IMEEMS can hear these songs. The writers can get paid as well. Everyone wins! The songs will periodically go into rotation, thoughout the Imeems community. You can upload a fanmix on this forum too.
However, there will be no "DIVA WARS" here. All great singers deserve to be appreciated and loved. They all have something special and endearing. Buy their products. See their shows. No negative nellies. Support your local on and off line dj store. NO attacking of other artists or each other. Keep it civil, PG-17 and intelligent. Thanks!
