Career: 1995 to present. After graduating from Tokyo Keizai University, Suga Shikao worked as a "salaryman" for four years in the advertising industry. He debuted with a major label EP album in 1997. Suga's J-Pop music has jazz, funk and soul influence, coupled with beautiful and moving lyrics. His work has also been featured on many popular anime series, including Honey & Clover, xxxHolic and in the live action Death Note movie.
Strengths: "Optimistic about a lot of things, a hard worker, passionate about charity, strong sense of duty (Or so I think... my own judgement.), sadistic about all things."
Weaknesses: "Terrible memory, nosy, crowds, maintaining relationships, heights, television cameras. Archetypal type-O. I put a scary amount of effort into the things I'm interested in, but ignore anything outside that. I like to think I'm a quick-thinking and urbane in front of people, but deep down I'm introverted, prone to loneliness (picked up from my father), poison-tongued, arrogant, selfish, and hate more than anything being ordered around by others. It's a lifestyle that would be supremely burdensome had I not become a musician."
