Separated from the real world lies an alternate reality mirroring the real world, but with a twist. This world was created with advances in technology by those from the future and with the help of a strange blend of old magic from the Old World, for the one purpose of preserving the Hidden, a strange race quite unlike those of the Humans. The Hidden dwell here in a world they call 'The Changed', and learn of the secrets of magic, and alchemy and many others, weaving their own fates different from humanity. The Humans, which had somehow made their way here, dwell peacefully within with acceptance. Some even proved compatible with the Arts, and took them up.
